Disbursement & Invoice Verification Policy

The MUZE Scholarship, administered by HER Scholarship Fund, Inc., is awarded annually to a young woman pursuing higher education in the Arts or Fine Arts at an accredited college or university. The scholarship award is available for up to a maximum of $10,000.00 per recipient for the award year, with disbursement structured over a period of up to two (2) years in alignment with institutional billing.
1. Payment to Institution Only
Scholarship funds are paid directly to the recipient’s college or university and are not disbursed to the student under any circumstances. Payments are issued in the recipient’s name and forwarded to the institution’s Financial Aid, Bursar, or Student Accounts Office for credit toward tuition, required fees, or approved educational expenses only.
2. Disbursement Schedule & Annual Cap
Disbursement will occur within two (2) years of the award date. Each individual disbursement may be up to $2,500.00 per payment based on official invoices received from the institution.
Total distributions will not exceed a maximum annual cap of $5,000.00 per year, across two years, regardless of the institution’s tuition balance or billing requests.
3. Institutional Coordination Required
The recipient must provide HER Scholarship Fund, Inc. with the Registrar’s Office and/or Financial Aid Office contact information, including a direct phone number and email address for official correspondence. No payment will be issued until institutional instructions for remittance have been confirmed in writing.
4. Invoice Verification Contacts

-
Registrar’s Office ~ verification of enrollment status and student standing
-
Financial Aid/Student Accounts Office ~ verification of tuition balance and approved charges
-
Bursar/Billing Office ~ instructions for application of funds
HER Scholarship Fund, Inc., will communicate directly and solely with these offices via the phone numbers and email addresses supplied by the recipient or institution to authenticate all payout requests. The organization reserves the right to reject any invoice that cannot be independently verified.
5. Enrollment Requirement
The recipient must remain enrolled full-time at the awarding institution to continue securing scholarship payments. If the recipient withdraws, is dismissed, or otherwise leaves the institution, all remaining funds will be returned to HER Scholarship Fund, Inc. and the award will terminate immediately.
6. Academic (GPA) Requirement (FERPA WAIVER)
To maintain eligibility for institutional payouts, the recipient must achieve and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2 for each semester/term following the award.
If the GPA requirement is not met, scholarship payments will stop and no further actions will be taken.
