1. Payment to Institution Only
-
Scholarship funds are paid directly to the recipient’s college or university and are not disbursed to the student under any circumstances.

Payments are issued in the recipient’s name but forwarded to the institution’s financial office for credit toward tuition, fees, or approved educational expenses.
2. Disbursement Schedule
-
Funds are distributed within one academic year of the award.
-
Payments will follow the institution’s billing cycle (semester or quarter system).
-
Disbursement amounts are determined based on the college’s invoice and tuition schedule.
3. Institutional Instructions Required
-
The recipient is required to provide HER Scholarship Fund, Inc. with the Registrar’s Office contact information, including phone number and email address, for direct coordination.
-
Instructions on how to remit payment must be received from the Registrar or Financial Aid Office before disbursement begins.
4. Enrollment Requirement
-
The student must remain enrolled full-time at the awarding institution to continue receiving scholarship funds.
-
If the recipient withdraws or leaves the institution, remaining funds will be returned to HER Scholarship Fund, Inc.
5. Transfer Policy
-
If the student transfers to another college before all funds are disbursed, remaining scholarship monies will not transfer to the new institution.
6. Use of Funds
-
Funds may only be applied to tuition, required fees, books, or institution-approved educational expenses.
-
Funds may not be used for personal living expenses, travel, or any non-educational purpose. *
